mkv to mp4

is there any way makemkv gives output as mp4. i do video edit in powerdirector but mkv audio is not supported there. Video plays without audio.

Use an MKV to MP4 converter program. Dozens exist.

That is the fault of Power Director then. MKV and MP4 are both containers, so you can have the very same video and audio inside them.

If some program can't open both containers, I would see it as a bad one.

Maybe the audio is in a format, that Power Director can't use? DTS-HDMA or something.

That seems to suggest the current version supports the .mkv container but no DTS formats, Dolby TrueHD, or Dolby Atmos.

Ezatoka might be right.
