Dolby Vision in UHD Backup?

If i take a full backup of a UHD Blu-Ray disc will it contain Dolby Vision?

It will if the disc contains DV. A full backup just copies the disc.

What if you just select one of the titles when you do open disc? I just open disc > choose film title > remove non English language tracks > start rip.

Does that copy DV too?

Dolby Vision is part of the video, so if it is part of the video on the disc, then it'll be in the resulting .mkv.

If you use a recent version of the utility MediaInfo on your .mkv files, it'll tell you if they have DV in them.
