T2 Trainspotting
Hi,
since I have now capabilities to view 4k, I was really curious to get a UHD in my collection. So maybe my issue is absolutely newbish, my deepest apologies in advance .
From the prompts I would get that there is no key yet, but the disc is quite old already.
My drive is a Pioneer BD-RW BDR-XD06U, my system is arch with build from AUR which is currently MKV 1.15.3.
Attached is the log file and the mpls and clpi files.
Hopefully I didn't oversee anything.

Re: T2 Trainspotting
I'm not sure one can use MakeMKV with UHDs and a Pioneer optical drive.

I saw this list, but didn't thought it's exclusive.
What's the matter with my Pioneer Drive?

Oh, what a pity. I imported this drive three years ago or so extra from japan, since at least at that time in Germany there was only crap on the market regarding external Bluray drives with UHD support.
I am currently replacing my HTPC by a shield. So the Bluray drive from that will be free it's a Asus BW-16D1HT, which is on the list. So I don't want to build it in, but if I buy something to use it externally I will be fine, right?

I saw the section regarding adapters/cases now. Is this exclusive? I didn't find the Y-1039 on that list that seems to be a cheaper newer option.
In the thread later on it is confirmed to work. Maybe one can update the front list.

Refer to the Guide... specifically sections...

Thanks, your answer was overlapping with my edit. It seems the list is not up to date. I think I will get the Y-1039 as in the thread it's confirmed to work.
Hopefully this will work out.
