At Close Range (Cinematographe) - weird problem with VLC

Hello.
I have a weird problem with this UHD and VLC player.
First of all, I tried another 4k disc, and it played correctly, without any problems.
When, I put this disc, I hear only audio and I see no video. It's black screen.
This occurs from the logo even in the start of the disc (probably Cinematographe logo).
Then it goes to the menu. I see that one correctly.
Then when I play the film, again black screen and I hear only audio!
BUT, when I tried again and I selected a commentary track first from the audio menu, voila, the film played and I saw video.
I reverted to its original audio, and it continued to play.
I stopped the disc, and tried again, but whenever I play the movie (without picking commentary track first), I see black screen.
The disc plays fine with MPC and madVR (though that doesn't support menus).
I'm just curious, is there any problem with this disc?
