UHD rips not working

Post by tylerb52 »

I am a total noob at this so forgive me if the answer is obvious. I have spent a few hours trying to figure it out on my own with no luck. I keep seeing this errorImage.

This is a newly flashed drive. Steps taken thus far

1) After flash, restarted computer (now said LibreDrive)
2) Added KEYDB.cfg file to /.MakeMKV folder
3) Enabled Internet Access inside MakeMKV

Drive is currently in a USB enclosure, I have no issues with normal blu ray and such

Here is some of the debug log if the image is hard to see. I am aware it is says LibreDrive issue but the program says it is enabled

"Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT ESTABLISHED' occurred while issuing SCSI command AD010..080002400 to device 'SPTI:\Device\CdRom0'
DEBUG: Code 0 at ek0A`ekmmj7(oPSno;:121264395
DEBUG: Code 4 at ek0A`ekmmj7(oPSno;:213130789
Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive
Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\tyler/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v76_Dune_5BCB.tgz
LibreDrive compatible drive is required to open this disc - video can't be decrypted."

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

UHD discs require more power to read than standard blu-ray as they are far more data dense. You can start by cleaning your UHD disc, even if it appears pristine.

Connect your enclosure to a USB port direct from the motherboard (use USB-C if possible) or use an AC self-powered USB hub of at least 24w. Don't use case ports.
Cheers :D

I tried your suggestions with no luck:/
I tried a few different USB-C cables as well.
Enclosure is plugged directly into mobo, I don't think it is a power draw issue. I have x870 mobo hooked up to a 1200W PSU.

I also tried USB A which didn't change things.. Tried using a VPN to prevent potential issues when pulling files from web and downloaded Java runtime (was recommended) somewhere.
Hoping to resolve the issue before my UHD evaluation period ends (want to know it works before buying) :)

Realized I didn't respond directly to your post...
