Why difference in analysis format?

Post by VA1DER »

I have two decrypted Blu-Rays that were burned onto BD-R. On one, MakeMKV gives me this data:

Disc Information
Label: 4U1454
Timestamp: 2025-07-02 10:52:40
Data capacity: 39.27 Gb
Disc type: BD-R
Number of layers: 2
Channel bit length: 74,5 nm (25.0 GB max. per layer)

On the other I get simply this:

Disc Information
Label: GOLDFINGER
Timestamp: 2025-10-28 15:39:37
Data capacity: 88.26 Gb

No layer information, no disc type, no channel bit length.

Is there a reason for this?
