New to the forums and makemkv as well.

I'm trying to rip Star Wars The Force Awakens 4K.
I've read not all but a majority of the post concerning this issue with either the Skywalker saga or stand alone disk.
Since it hasn't been an update since 2020, is there a way now to fix this error.
I tried copy the entire disk on the internal hard drive but when it comes to create the mkv file at the end error and no save.
Copied a .ISO file and mount it same result.
I'm wondering if this is still an issue or is it my equipement that is not able to work as intended.
The drive is brand new and with other disk I have no problem at all.

Here's the first error I see:

It looks like every other error in the log is a variation of the same thing; the optical drive hit a spot on the disc it was unable to read (at offset 29782308864).

The standard advice is to gently clean the disc and try again.

I did clean it before posting, after your advice I cleaned it with distilled water.
It works, it ripped without any error.
