Just gets stuck and stalls at this point…doesn’t crash or fail…just continues indefinitely like all is well but not….


Martial law the original backsup fine…no issues

Also it straggly ejected the disk once before ripping however its not repeated. No other disk has done this.

try cleaning it with a damp lint free microfiber cloth and dry with another

I just had this happen with my brand new UHD disc of The Fugitive. Doesn't appear to be dirty or scratched but tried several times with the same errors at the same spot. Guess I have to get a replacement from Best Buy. What a bummer. I'm 0 for 2 on recent Harrison Ford UHD discs. Witness won't rip correctly due to mastering issues.

Sometimes brand new, first time out of the case discs can have an impossible to spot haze that evenly coats the disc. A gentle cleaning can remove it and improve your chances of getting a clean rip.

I just exchanged for a brand new disc and I’m getting the exact same type of errors at the exact same spot. I think this might have more to do with the mastering process or the type of disc than just a disc being dirty. The new disc I got is absolutely flawless with not a mark anywhere in sight. I have never run into this problem before, seems to only be with newly released films. Very odd.
