Hellboy 2019 uhd 4K stops ripping at 26 minutes

Hello,
I've been trying to make a mkv of the latest Hellboy for about a year. The 2019 version which was re-released. This is only 1 of 3 disks in my collection that makemkv doesn't work on. So I know the process works. The process gets about 26 minutes into the burn then starts having problems reading the disk. This is the second disk, same problem. The file size is about 74GB. Which means it is probably double sided. No problem, I have other disks that were that capacity and they worked. I would gladly pay to get this problem resolved. I am using the temp licence. Are some features / decoding held back? Also I am running windows 10 pro. Hey does this have to with jave run time script? is so Where can I get it? And which version.

over 66 gigs mean triple layer but yes it should work
you can see it stopped right on a layer switch as its is at 0.0x with safe showing and about 1/3 through.
my advice is to clean the disc with a damp lint free microfiber cloth and dry with another.
