Sonic 2 came out today. Emailed the dump to svq (I think that's the right place).

Hmm, I'm getting "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted" for mine. But I'm also seeing this in the logs just before:

Downloading latest HK to /Users/rob/Library/MakeMKV ...
Automatic HK downloading is disabled or failed.

I tried manually downloading from https://www.makemkv.com/svq/sdf.bin but it didn't make a difference...hmm.

I'm getting the same error. did you figure it out? in case, my disc is different than some others, i submitted a dump file to mike.

Not sure if I got lucky or its back online or the key was updated but I got my copy of Sonic 2 finally ripping now

Yep mine started working. I think the server that the latest keys download from was offline for a bit.

Was hoping to have success after hearing others getting theirs to rip, however still no dice. I emailed the tgz a few weeks ago too, anyone have any ideas?

I emailed the dump for mine since even downloading the latest update didn't allow me to rip this disk.
