New to ripping but couldn't find this in other threads or the FAQ.
Seeing noticeable reduced sound quality from UHD rips (Martian and Ender's Game, eg) between the actual disc on my BluRay player, and the playback from my Zappiti Reference. Is there a particular setting I need to select when ripping? I have tried using the "Backup" (to BDVM folder) as well as the full MKV rips. Sound quality isn't near as clear or sharp and volume level coming off the Zappiti is reduced as well (have to turn up my receiver considerably for same volume). (Tried switching cables too).
Any ideas? What am I doing wrong in the ripping process?

Re: Reduced Audio Quality (UHD Martian & UHD Ender's Game)
MakeMKV, unless configured to do so by using either the FLAC or AAC profile, will copy the audio track from the transport stream files on the BD into a MKV container.
Whatever format they're in, they will be the same format in the MKV file, OR in a backup directory. There should be no degradation to the audio.
I cannot comment on the sound rendering capability of the Zappati, because I've never seen or heard one. Perhaps others will chime in about it.
