Tammy and the T-Rex

Post by Mountainmohawk »

Hey All,

I'm having trouble ripping this movie in particular, but have had some issues with other 4k discs too. I've tried cleaning the discs and making sure there wasn't any dirt in the drive either, but still no luck. Below is my drive information and the error with the rip.

Hi

Im getting the same issue with 'No Time To Die'. Other discs work fine.

Protection: AACS2.0/C v76
Highest AACS version: 76

Product: BD-RE BU40N
Revision: 1.04

Can anyone let me know if its my drive or is the AACS version higher than MakeMKV can currently do

Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive
Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\mount/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v76_No_Time_to_Die_7BE7.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc

Thanks

Hey All,

I'm having trouble ripping this movie in particular, but have had some issues with other 4k discs too. I've tried cleaning the discs and making sure there wasn't any dirt in the drive either, but still no luck. Below is my drive information and the error with the rip.
Is your drive in an external enclosure and powered by USB? If so, are both cables connected? And if so, are the directly connected to your computer or to a powered USB hub? MakeMKV can make a drive work hard enough that it exceeds how much power a single USB plug can provide.

Yep. It appears to be enabled. I have tried MakeMKV on different machines and same issue. I know my disc drive is supported so im a bit lost to why this blu-ray in particular wont rip :/

You need to flash that drive to do UHD you have never done any UHD with it.
