What version? The 2021 release of Dune in 4K has had keys for some time.

The 2021 version. I am getting this error:

The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted

I have the latest version of makemkv. Any advice? First time I have run into this issue!

I've been trying and trying and trying to watch my copy of Dune 4K but it just won't play.

I live in Europe; my version has German on the back cover, so maybe it has different encryption?

I've just emailed the .tgz file to svq@makemkv.com.

Or, if anyone here has experience with this and some tricks that work, I'd really appreciate it.

The hash of my disk is:

This doesn't appear in keydb.cfg.

Is there anything I can do? Who makes that DB, can I bug them directly?

keydb.cfg is an collaboration of hundreds of users, so complaining isn't going to get you much.

Submitting the information from a MakeMKV rip is the best way to get things down for MakeMKV, because keydb.cfg hasn't been the primary way to get key information in MakeMKV for years.

Is the "All 4K Releases" Google Sheet updated frequently? Would this be a good place to check if my submission is on the creator's radar?

Cannot say about the 4K spreadsheet author. They're an independent operator in all of this.
