Are there some anti-computer/rip methods they use on discs (other than the encryption) to mess up the read of the discs?
First what happens is that the drive spins up and down while reading just the meta/content-information.
I get the "folder" structure of the content but after about 10s makemkv closes the video/audio/sub-selection window and it says "read error".
If I quickly deselect just the main stuff I don't want (like bonus material etc.) it reads the disc fine and it rips.
But I can't keep it open for longer than 10-15s without the closing of the window and "read error".
Almost reminds me of the old 3.5" diskette era where physical errors where added to the original diskettes

The discs are brand new and the reader is about 2 weeks old.
Asus BW-16D1HT with the firmware from the UHD drive thread.
Other discs works fine but this was the first one which gave trouble.
