Hi, im in the process of copying Everest 4k bluray. Its in the supported hashed keys. However its taking forever to do. So far its been running for nearly 12 hours and the remaining time in increasing rather than decreasing. All other disks only take about 2 hours to complete. Its a high spec system its running on too. What could it be taking so long? Here is a log of the operation:

MakeMKV v1.14.2 win(x64-release) started

What happens if you install Java, as recommended, to mitigate the Java-based encryption?

I would think the read errors are the more pressing issue. Clean it thoroughly, then clean it again. UHDs are really picky.

Haha I noticed this in the log after writing the initial post. I've now installed java and going to try again soon. Thanks

Thanks for your response. Sorry could you clarify what you mean by clean and clean again. Thanks

Just a bit of exaggeration. What I mean is clean the disc thoroughly, and even if it looks perfect it may still have issues. You may have to clean it multiple times before you can get a clean rip.
