Every disc has an Error

Post by paul2793 »

I hope I'm posting this in the right area. I have been trying to rip some 4K movies tonight and every single disc I try to rip, in the middle it stops and gives an error message.
Very frustrating. It has never done this before. Any ideas?
Thanks
Paul

Have you tried power cycling your drive? Whenever my drives get into a weird state I power them off for a bit then turn them back on. My drives are external, so it is relatively easy for me to do. If your drive is internal you'll have to completely power off your computer.

Start by cleaning the discs. Even if pristine, still give'em a clean!
Cheers :D

Polywatch has enabled me to rip many brand new discs I couldn't otherwise. It is very strange to see what looks like a perfectly clean disc have Polywatch remove a visible black residue from the surface.

No product placement please. Liquid soap and warm water works perfectly.

Except when it doesn't; then I've found *product placement brand REDACTED* a thing that does.
