So I have a BIG av desync at around the 3 min mark on the Director's Cut (4k HDR10) version of Hellboy. Its not a disc issue, the disc is flawless. I get LOTS of AV Sync errors when ripping this one.
But, for some reason, VLC plays this back PERFECTLY.
The Desync only happens when using FFMPEG (ala Plex). What is going on here? What can I do about it?
I've already tried Re-encoding it with Handbrake from MKV to MP4 with "Align AV start" option selected, that did not fix it.

What happens if you try a different Plex client?
If VLC plays the file correctly, it sorta sounds like a bug in a specific version of Plex/ffmpeg.
