UHD discs won’t decrypt on Arm64 (linux)

As the title says the software works up to the point where it has to decrypt the disc and then errors out with a Key not being found.
Supplying a keydb.cfg also doesn’t get it working and that’s why I assume it’s a bug on the software side of things. I‘m also not the only one who’s encountered this issue as per some other forums.

Does anybody have an idea how we can fix this bug but it’s probably something only Mike can fix with an update.

With Windows X86 the same Disc works just fine.

What happens if you copy the _private_data.tar file from your Windows box to the appropriate place on your linux box? Does it work then?

_private_data.tar file
when and where would I find it?

_private_data.tar is usually in your MakeMKV data directory (not the program directory) on Windows computers.

The data directory is listed on the General tab of MakeMKV preferences.

Furthermore, out of curiosity, on your linux box, is that directory readable & writeable by MakeMKV?

The aforementioned .tar file is where MakeMKV stores hashed keys it downloads to decrypt UHDs.
