I have tried ripping 3 different UHD discs and all have failed because of protection. Will there be a new update to bypass the new protection on the newer discs? I do have the failed files stored if I need to uplaod those here?

Do you have a UHD-capable drive? If so, the exact nature of WHY the disk failed should tell you how to proceed.
If you do NOT have a UHD-capable drive, that's the first problem. Which drive are you trying to use?
MakeMKV will report the status of how it worked. If it gives you a file name, like "My_movie_title_ABCD.tgz", that is because the disk isn't known by your copy of MakeMKV, and you need to submit the file to svq@makemkv.com to be handled. Usually, the disk will become readable in a day or three, assuming your system can pull updates (not all systems can).

yes I have a drive it's worked fine except for thee 3 new releases. I have submitted the dump files. Hopefully we'll get an update to the software soon
