LOTR 4K boxed set, rips have audio but no video

Hello,
I'm trying to rip the LOTR extended editions from the 4k boxed set. However, when I try and play the output file, there is audio but the video is just a black screen. No errors or anything in the ripping process or from the video player.
I've tried in VLC and windows media player to the same effect. Under the video tab in VLC, there is a video track labeled "track 1", which is selected.

I haven't had any trouble ripping and playing back other 4k blu rays (mostly star wars movies), just this particular boxed set. Has anyone seen this before?

Ripped again this morning and now it works fine.
