Correct File for Puss in Boots 4K

Post by Toma58uenaventur »

Can someone confirm if the 801.mpls is actually the correct english verison of the film?

For some reason MakeMKV skips 800.mpls which I thought would usually be the correct english version as its 'identical'

Can someone confirm or explain how I can access the 800 file?

Attached a Screenshot of the skip as reference.

If MakeMKV is telling you the playlists are identical, you're good. The playlist itself is less important, it's the segment maps and files they reference that matter. The playlist (mpls) just tells the UHD/BD player what order to play the m2ts files, which actually house the audio/video streams. When MakeMKV says that an mpls file is identical, it means that the m2ts files all the same m2ts files are referenced and in the same order.
