Resident Evil collection
Resident Evil collection
New movie day! I'll be submitting dumps for all 6 of these in the next couple hours. I've got 3 dumps ready to go that I'll send now but I'm making protected ISOs first while I can read them (taking NO chances these days). I'll submit the next 3 after the ISOs are done.
EDIT: Scanned the last 3 before making the rest of the ISOs. That BU40N is a fast little drive. All dumps submitted.

Re: Resident Evil collection
Which collection shall this be? I bought a collection of BluRays from Movie 1 to 5 in 2015 already. Hadn't a problem with any of the discs (bought on German Amazon)
Re: Resident Evil collection
Well, we're in the UHD section of the forum. This is the newly released UHD collection.
Re: Resident Evil collection
Whoops, my error, sorry. Only have seen the thread title in the Unread posts and not noticed the section
Re: Resident Evil collection
No worries at all! I'm hoping we get these discs supported soon.
Re: Resident Evil collection
These are all supported now. Thanks, Mike!

Re: Resident Evil collection
Resident Evil Apocalypse has the Atmos drop outs issue, has anyone experienced the same?
Re: Resident Evil collection
Fingers crossed that this will be fixed in 1.15.4!mazzetta86 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 21, 2020 9:54 amResident Evil Apocalypse has the Atmos drop outs issue, has anyone experienced the same?
Using: ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.00
Re: Resident Evil collection
I'll be watching it soon, but, I'm pretty sure I won't have that issue as I rip to decrypted folder backup and process it to MKV with another tool. It would be nice if these issues are fixed in the next version, though because as of now MakeMKV is the only tool I can use to process Dolby Vision titles into MKV containers.
EDIT: Well, there are glitches in the output of the tool I use, too. How lovely.

Re: Resident Evil collection
Does anyone know which track to use for Apocalypse? 800 + 804 are 1:33:47 and have a duplicated segment map. 802 + 803 are 1:37:46 and have a duplicated segment map. Thanks.
Re: Resident Evil collection
802 is correct. I just watched it.

Re: Resident Evil collection
I have tried with MakeMKV, CloneBD and mlp, a tool created by a user of this forum. Same problem with all of them. I think they may have created a new way of seamless playback.SamuriHL wrote: ↑Sat Nov 21, 2020 6:17 pmI'll be watching it soon, but, I'm pretty sure I won't have that issue as I rip to decrypted folder backup and process it to MKV with another tool. I have raised an issue on the mlp project but not too sure if it will be sorted. https://github.com/domyd/mlp/issues/10
Re: Resident Evil collection
Yea, this one is UGLY. Several times when the dropouts occurred with my CloneBD created MKV, the audio didn't come back. I had to stop and restart the video. I've not seen one this bad since Incredibles 2.
Re: Resident Evil collection
Have you guys tried the tool created by @domy94 here?

It sounds like Mike might be incorporating his methods into the next release.
