What's the easiest way to know when a dump has been processed?

Is it just a matter of periodically popping the UHD in your drive and trying to see if the disc will open or is there an easier way?

I always back-up the disc in question (with protection in place) while I wait. That way I can quickly open the back-up without having to bother with the disc. It also ensures I only have to handle the disc once. Not to mention that ripping titles from a backup is lightning fast compared to off the disc.

That sounds like a great idea.

Pardon my ignorance, but how do you make the backup - just copy the contents or is there specific software required for that?

When a BD or UHD disk is loaded, one of the active icons on the toolbar is "Backup". Click it, follow the prompts, but do NOT check the "decrypt" box, because it can't do that yet.
