I know Billycar11 said you are getting real read errors and he knows more about this stuff than I do for sure. In my experience, read errors manifest differently. The errors you've reported:
Error 'OS error - This device does not exist' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00800.m2ts' at offset '14550300672'
Error 'OS error - The volume for a file has been externally altered such that the opened file is no longer valid' occurred while reading '\Device\CdRom2' at offset '14550300672'
Error 'OS error - This device does not exist' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/01068.m2ts' at offset '0'
still seem like they might be a drive power problem. Are both cables plugged into a powered hub (aka a hub with its own power supply) or are both plugged directly into your computer?

Also, you could try making a decrypted backup of the blu-ray instead. How to make a backup. Sometimes a different access pattern of a disc produces a different outcome.
