I have a UHD I can't rip and a Pioneer BD-RW BDR-S12U. My understanding is there's nothing I can do about this except submit the dump to svq and wait?

Yes, email the dump to svq@makemkv.com. You can also make a post for the dump here in this thread as Pioneer drives can be used for dumps now. Just follow the template from the first post.

Also, if you are using Windows, try SamuraiHL's KeyDB tool as there may already be a media key available for your disc. His tool might be able to add a key record for your disc and update the KeyDB without you having to post the dump here. It's worth trying this first.

In the KeyDB Assistant do the following:

Synchronize when opening the tool
Disc Info <-- that is what you want

Disc Info pulls some info off the disc and checks it against the keydb.cfg that FindVUK downloaded for you during the Synchronize function. It will tell you the status of the disc. It'll also check the keydb.cfg for usable media keys for your title. If a usable key is found then FindVUK validate is used to upload the key for you automatically. No need to use validate function most of the time.
