In my case, after sent email to svq@makemkv for my dump files I got 2 HashCheck Error.
Before sending TGZ file, I got 347 HashCheck Error..
Anyway.. Queen 4k uhd won't rip from now due to 2 hashcheck error. :(
Is there any solution for this issue??

My ODD is BP60NB10(FW 1.02)
Makemkv 1.17.7
clean the disc
replace the disc
clean the drive laser
replace drive with a pioneer with old FW
Thank you for your reply.
I have already cleaned and replaced disc and other UHD discs have been ripping without error
Can I get pioneer ODD model name for Queen 4K ripping?
Any of the pioneers I sell I recommend the UBK the most

MakeMKV is reading the disc now (disk 2) but still getting errors as follows:

Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00000.m2ts' at offset '38331095040'
Error 'Posix error - Input/output error' occurred while reading '/dev/rdisk2' at offset '38331095040'
Error 'Posix error - Input/output error' occurred while reading '/dev/rdisk2' at offset '38331095040'
Error 'Posix error - Input/output error' occurred while reading '/dev/rdisk2' at offset '38331095040'
Error 'Posix error - Input/output error' occurred while reading '/dev/rdisk2' at offset '38331095040'

Any options for this or is this going to be one of those troublesome titles?!

Those are read errors so the usual advice applies. Clean the disc, get a better drive, replace the disc, etc.

Is there anyone who get ripping mkv file completely for Queen 4K UHD?
I'm always getting error message after about 90% of ripping process(hashcheck error...) until now.

Not here, disc 1 (full screen) is fine but I can get to various points for disc 2 but it always fails.

I was able to back up both discs using my Pioneer XD08 drive, although disc2 did stutter once to complain that one of the UDF "nodes" didn't have any data to read. (Cannot remember the exact error.)

Interestingly, my BU40N drive struggles even to mount disc2 in the first place :shock:.

Managed to backup both discs at the first attempt (Pioneer BDR-213EBK), but disc 2 backed up at more than half the normal speed (took nearly 3 hours)

I have realised that both of these discs contain a mastering error, specifically their BDMV/META/DL/bdmt_eng.xml files contain invalid XML. I have modified both of my back-ups manually by replacing the "&" character with "&" like this:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<disclib xmlns="urn:BDA:bdmv;disclib" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="urn:BDA:bdmv;disclib disclib.xsd">
  <di:discinfo xmlns:di="urn:BDA:bdmv;discinfo">
    <di:title>
      <di:name>Queen - Rock Montreal & Live Aid Wide Screen Version</di:name>
    </di:title>
    <di:description>
      <di:thumbnail href="./Queen_640X360.jpg" size="640x360" />
      <di:thumbnail href="./Queen_416X240.jpg" size="416x240" />
    </di:description>
  </di:discinfo>
</disclib>
The point is that the "&" character is a special character which needs to be encoded in XML values.

How the hell does (I'm assuming) Scenarist author that??? God the studios really are lazy when it comes to this stuff.

The packaging is utter crap for this set. The post on the bluray.com forum is filled with complaints of discs that can't play properly.

I couldn't rip my original copy without errors. I have 2 different drives, and both failed. Returned that copy, got a replacement, and same thing all over again.
