I've got C8EE and I'm seeing this error:

The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted

Is this something where I should send in a dump?

Simply forward the C8EE file to svq@makemkv.com and wait a day or two before retrying. Mike is usually pretty quick about generating keys.

Good evening, I got this movie today and across a few attempts to get the drive to rip, I too got the C8EE error. It happened once so I submitted it, but otherwise would get about 19-20GB saved before the following error occurred:

I tried cleaning my disk a few times but ultimately gave up. I got all the other content but the main movie off of the UHD BD disk.

The errors look a lot like the chain of errors from the drive powering off mid-rip. That would happen if it didn't have sufficient power available. Is this a USB-powered drive, or installed in the machine?
