Is the sheet hosted somewhere else now? Thanks again!
the new link in my signature should work

Cool, what would be the best way to create dv from hdr10 cm_analyzer or davinci resolve?RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 9:18 pmyes all cmv4.0 movies have cmv2.9 fallback metadata. Your G3 + CE device should support cmv4.0.
All the trims(100-600-1000) work together and the metadata can be extrapolated to any target brightness.Don't I have to add a 800nit trim to the RPU to get the most brightness out of it?
My primary device is still the cmv2.9 Philips TV 65oled934.
What I want is to create cmv4.0 DV Profile 8 with most compatibility for my my old philips tv while future proof for device like LG G3 and up as I share content with multiple deolby vision devices.

CM is 100% automated but can be slow and relies on madvr for the scene-cut detectiondarrrkmanxxx wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 12:58 pmCool, what would be the best way to create dv from hdr10 cm_analyzer or davinci resolve?
Resolve is not automated but is much faster and has slightly better scene-cut detection.
Sorry for my English.

I'm on macos, so I'm running windows in parallels and davinci on macos.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 2:24 pmCM is 100% automated but can be slow and relies on madvr for the scene-cut detectiondarrrkmanxxx wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 12:58 pmCool, what would be the best way to create dv from hdr10 cm_analyzer or davinci resolve?

What is the use case for "Transfer RPU levels" workflow 2-3?

Lets take Alien Romulus, the L1 Plots look about the same. Would it still be beneficial to take the Web-Dl's Rpu or Transfer Levels?

Do all the checks as I did in the video and find out.
This title is probably missing(IIRC) from my ''okay to transfer'' list because I deleted the old sheet by mistake.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I found a bug in the latest version of workflow 6-2 when using the CLI. When calculating the MaxCLL and MaxFALL threshold percentages, the CLI reports an "unrecognized arguments: -m over" error, and the percentages all read "0" on the plot. "HDR10 Plotter" works, however, in the GUI.

Meanwhile, I ran the workflow 3-1 on my windows machine and unfortunately it took forever since I have an AMD RX 6900 XT (no CUDA) , which I plotted afterwards and now there a 10000nit spike:

Can I ignore it or should I try to remove it form the metadata?
Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
@RESET_9999 if I try using the latest version of madVR the workflow 6-2 doesn't work. Why is this?
The version I downloaded comes from https://www.videohelp.com/software/madVR

run the xml/rpu in 6-2, it will tell you the first frame of the shot where this spike happens. I suspect there is a glitch in your video.darrrkmanxxx wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2025 9:38 amCan I ignore it or should I try to remove it form the metadata?
I don't know; I don't use the time-limited beta build. When they expire, they can break madmeasureHDR.exe.@RESET_9999 if I try using the latest version of madVR the workflow 6-2 doesn't work. Why is this?

I use the version included in the tool pack, the latest beta version before the time-limited ones.

your were right! It was a glitch. A real cool way btw to verify, thank you so much.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2025 2:31 pmrun the xml/rpu in 6-2, it will tell you the first frame of the shot where this spike happens. @RESET_9999
Another question:
I have a remux which is profile 8, but has only cmv2.9
L1: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jALIu_ ... p=drivesdk
Should I transfer thle levels (like in your profile 7), or just go straight for cm_analyze?
What would be superior?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
if there's a retail cmv4.0 RPU from streaming yes. Otherwise, it depends on whether the cmv2.9 rpu has trims or not.
