I wonder if this disc will be a problem - new version of encryption or something. Normally by now I'd see a version floating on the internet...

I was wondering what drive you are using to rip this movie? My LG16NS40 F/W1.02 chokes on it, have tried multiple cleanings. Maybe I should get a different copy. Are different drives less prone to read errors?

I always use my NS60 official drive on fw 1.00 with MakeMKV. Works great.

BU40N way less read errors but try a new copy first

I changed the FW on my LG16NS40 1.02 to LG16NS60 1.00, and it ripped fine. Thank you for the help.
