PIONEER BDR-209 UHD 4K support(flash?)

Hi!

I am new here.
And i wonder if there is a way to flash PIONEER BDR-209.
It's an external drive from Asus. I can't get it to work with any 4K UHD movie. It says no disc inserted.

Is it possible to maybe flash it?
Can it still rip from regular Blu-Ray discs after a flash?

I believe I have the same unit, the Pioneer BDR-209DBK, and I wanted to ask if it can also be modified to burn 4K discs. If so, will it still be able to burn regular BD discs as well?

Post your Makemkv info and I will send the flasher. Burning will be still supported.
