This can now be ripped.
Re: Dump submitted for mission impossible final reckoning
Not working for me until I added the latest KEYDB.cfg from findVUK, then it works.
Re: Dump submitted for mission impossible final reckoning
Not working for me. Version 1.18.2, using latest KEYDB.cfg version. It doesn't work. Continue to get Video can't be decrypted, Failed to open disc. ALL other UHD 4k's work, not this one. It appears they can't decrypt this one (4k UHD Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning)

Is your disc a different version to the others in the KeyDB? Try searching the KeyDB for the Disc ID (the SHA-1 of the Unit_Key_RO.inf file on the disc)bbussio5 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 14, 2025 12:17 amNot working for me. MakeMKV should have created a dump file for you. The log window tells you where it is located.
Records for the following versions are already in the KeyDB:
MKB20_v82_MI_FINAL_RECKONING_A432
MKB20_v82_MI_FINAL_RECKONING_625C
MKB20_v82_MISSION-_IMPOSSIBLE_THE_FINAL_RECKONING_9EAA
If your dump file has different 4 character code at the end, you should submit the dump.
The standard process is the first point below:
- Email the generated tgz dump file to svq@makemkv.com so that MakeMKV can derive the key and add it to their internal hashed keys.
- So now that you have emailed the dump, if you also would like to help the community, first download the latest public KeyDB zip file and extract it to the MakeMKV data directory (where the dumps are locted). After doing this, if you still cannot rip the disc, since this is a UHD disc, provided you did not use a Pioneer drive to generate the dump file, you can make a post in the Public KeyDB Sumbissions thread providing:
- the drive model used to create the dump file.
- the full name of the dump file.
- a download link for the dump file after you have hosted it somewhere.
Cheers

Used LEAWO Prof Media 13 and it works fine. Not going to use MAKEMKV any longer. Software doesn't work and is now proven to be unreliable. I'd suggest everyone switch to LEAWO, it doesn't need to have a KEY file updated every time a new title is released, and it doesn't need to be "debugged" on every new title. MAKEMKV just doesn't cut it for ripping any longer.
