MKB20_v82_SINNERS_9F22.tgz
Thanks for providing this dump file. You appear to have created it using a Verbatim 43888 drive containing a Pioneer BDR-UD04 device, which makes some of its information unreadable by anyone except MakeMKV itself. Would you happen to have access to a non-Pioneer UHD drive please?
Here is a new dump file of the movie using lg drive not pioneer thanks for any help

As a note I see the same "Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive" as above but I see that even with power cycling. I also tried to reflash just to see if that fixed it and it still shows up although I didn't remove it from power afterwards so maybe? Also saw it with a different UHD but regular blu-rays are fine.
Did you actually completely power down the drive? Reflashing a drive which has previously worked with MakeMKV is never productive.

As soon as you see the error message "Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive" you can just delete the generated disc dump files as they are useless.
You may need to explain to me exactly what you mean about powering down a drive then as I unplugged the drive for ~10 seconds which strikes me as "good enough" but if it takes several minutes for anything to hold a charge I can try that again. It'd seem odd that it would immediately work on a non-UHD encrypted bluray if the LibreDrive was failing as that did work (it failed on the UHD version of La Haine then worked on the HD version) but I can attempt it later when I have time by just unplugging it overnight.

Hey kevin040474, thank you for generating a new disc dump file. Could you please enable public access to that file?

You had the right idea by physically disconnecting the drive and 10 seconds is normally plenty of time for the drive to reset. It might be worth creating a thread in the MakeMKV Linux subforum to try to get to the bottom of your UHD/LibreDrive issue. If you have access to a Windows or macOS computer it would also be worth trying to confirm the issue is specific to your Linux system and not the drive.

It is important to remember that even when LibreDrive is not working MakeMKV can still process most AACS 1.0 (1080p) Blu-ray discs as it can use the standard mode of AACS authentication.
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
  • LG/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
  • Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
  • If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder
