The Substance
The Substance
It’s showing as failed to open disc and dumped a tgz file. I have the newest KEYDB.cfg dropped in the .Makemkv folder. It’s the first time I’ve had to download the cfg file. I assume I have it in the wrong spot? This disc must have been submitted months ago, it’s not that new.

Re: The Substance
Upload the disc dump file to a file host and post the link here. Just because a disc is several months or even years old doesn't mean it has been added.
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
- LG/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
- Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
- If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

Can you please enable public access for that file?

Re: The Substance
No worries, thanks for fixing the link.
Your particular disc variant was added to the public keydb on June 13th. Try to follow my instructions here.
If you can download the keydb zip file and extract it to the same folder where you found that MKB20_v77_THE_SUBSTANCE_357F.tgz file you will be able to decrypt your disc with MakeMKV.
