The fast and the furious 4K UHD Key not Present

Tried adding newest KEYDB.CFG to /home/user/.MakeMKV folder without luck


ILLEGAL REQUEST:COPY PROTECTION KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE - KEY NOT PRESENT'
Moviepack was bought from coolshop and it is fast and furious 9 movie collection. Other disks rip fine but not the first movie

Not sure why not though... However, even MakeMKV needs a dump that was generated using LibreDrive.

Weird since i have flashed my drive with libredrive enabled firmware and it rips other 4K movies

It doesn't look like you have flashed the drive with libredrive compatible firmware. Can you post your MakeMKV drive info / libredrive info sections.

I guess it was a fluke then. Now it rips without any issue . But ye i tried to rip it for 3 days before i posted this. Downloaded keys etc reinstalled makemkv and it still said same no key

Its Verbatim drive that is pretty much rebranded LG so i flashed it with this DE_LG_BU40N_1.03_MK.bin from all in one firmware pack from martymcnuts and i have ripped 30 UHD movies with it already without issues. The Fast and the Furious 1 was first movie with issues but it rips fine now.

Could you provide the discatt.dat file that MakeMKV created for this disk please? I think it might be able to tell The Powers That KEYDB something new.

Yep, must have not used libredrive for that session for some reason.... Your drive info looks fine.
