On my end it still says can "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted".

I have tried all the steps from viewtopic.php?t=33058

I am having the exact same issue, and I have tried all the same fixes.
- I have added google as the primary DNS for both IPv4 and IPv6.
- I have added the following to the host file:
185.84.108.20 hkdata.crabdance.com
185.84.108.20 hkdata.fairuse.org
- I have tried adding the above line to the Proxy settings in MakeMKV
- I am only running the windows firewall, so I allowed MakeMKV.exe through.

Still didn't work :(

Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV?

YES!! It worked! MrPenguin, thank you so much! My man!

I use the Samsung tv to directly play videos in mkv files. I found this is the way to achieved the best video quality. Tried different cables, different devices, etc. but nothing is close to the quality using the TV to play the files from a hard drive directly.

But this one is in dolby vision, any suggestions on converting it?
