So I've been searching for a drive to rip all my media here for quite a bit and finally found a ASUS BW-16D1HT on Ebay for cheap here in Europe.
The seller said it's: "ASUS BW-16D1HT Blu-Ray Drive with Firmware 3.01 "UHD Friendly""
And on the description he said it's compatible with MakeMKV, so should I still flash it to the 3.10MK?

Is there any advantage at all to go to 3.10MK? Like better speeds or better UHD Compatibility?

3.10 rips faster, 3.01 up to 3.03 is better with critical discs and stays longer at slower speed if reading is a problem. Your choice.
