Hash Check Errors with Apocalypse Now The Final Cut

I’m in the US, looking at a full size 5.25 drive.

My question is, if I buy a drive from a 3rd party seller with a new firmware, can the drive still be flashed via the flashing services offered by a few members here, or can only older firmware drives be flashed?

12/2022 is also too late - it needs to be before 12/2022.

I ended up order a Pioneer drive from Billy rather than try to find one with an older firmware and get it flashed. Billy was great, the drive showed up in a few days but had the exact same issue as all 3 of my LG drives. Also tried it on my PC (Mac Pro is my main ripping machine), same result. Seems like it must be some sort of software issue since both the Final Cut and Original editions have the same problem.
