Re: Oppenheimer (2023)
I ripped Oppenheimer today on my M1 MacBook Pro using ffmpeg.
To get that working I did this:
Install Xcode:
Then proceed to install Homebrew
After installation check:
You should get: “Your system is ready to brew” as a reply.
Install ffmpeg:
Then install libaacs:
http://fvonline-db.bplaced.net/
KEYDB.cfg in ~/Library/Preferences/aacs/
Paste the downloaded KEYDB.cfg here.
Open the disc with MakeMKV to enable libredrive mode.
Just leave MakeMKV as is.
You can check in MakeMKV which device is your blu-ray drive.
Then in terminal: (replace /dev/rdisk4 with the address of your drive)
To get that working I did this:
Install Xcode:
Code: Select all
xcode-select --install
Code: Select all
/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)"
Code: Select all
brew doctor
Install ffmpeg:
Code: Select all
brew install ffmpeg
Code: Select all
brew install libaacs
cd /opt/homebrew/Cellar/libaacs
cp libaacs.0.dylib /usr/local/lib
ln -s libaacs.0.dylib libaacs.dylib
http://fvonline-db.bplaced.net/
KEYDB.cfg in ~/Library/Preferences/aacs/
Code: Select all
Open ~/Library/Preferences/aacs/
Open the disc with MakeMKV to enable libredrive mode.
Just leave MakeMKV as is.
You can check in MakeMKV which device is your blu-ray drive.
Then in terminal: (replace /dev/rdisk4 with the address of your drive)
Code: Select all
ffmpeg -i "bluray:/dev/rdisk4" -c copy -map 0 Oppenheimer.mkv

Re: Oppenheimer (2023)
Got my Amazon (US) 4K UltraHD Oppenheimer (2023) disks today. The 4K disk won't even open, just sputters around for a minute and then kicks the disk out. The HD disk ripped fine, no problems. Special features disk, all good. But I can't even get a .tgz file for the 4K because it refuses to mount. Tried two different 4K optical readers, my go to being the WH16NS40 v1.02 using LibreDrive mode. Previously I've ripped 30+ UHD 4K blu-rays.... no issues. Am I missing something?
Re: Oppenheimer (2023)
3CB4 is working now, lets hope it rips fine.
Re: Oppenheimer (2023)

Re: Oppenheimer (2023)
Probably not. Several here (including myself) have bad discs from Amazon. I've tried multiple drives as well. Try to clean the disc carefully and retry... otherwise you may have to open a return and wait awhile, Amazon shows a big delay for replacements.TORRRRR wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2023 9:14 pmGot my Amazon (US) 4K UltraHD Oppenheimer (2023) disks today. Re: Oppenheimer (2023)
Currently ripping 3CB4, but got 1 HashCheck Error when it was loading up the disc, relating to 00441.m2ts.
Not sure if that will cause problems, but I’m at 75% without further issues.
