Game of Thrones 4K UHD Retail.

I'm getting fails on Disc 3 of the seasons below. I have the ASUS & LG drives and both are failing at the same time. These are virgin discs that have went from the retail wrapper to the drives. I want to post my dumps to see what is going on but wondering if anybody else has had these problems.

I ordered a BU40N for shits and giggles and I'll try it but I expect the same results. It should be here tomorrow so I'll have another update. Also I have backed up 200 other titles without failure as informational data.

Thanks for posting this. I bought a collector's metal edition and ripping them now... I know for a fact that you cannot always trust the mpls sequence but at least I know now with GoT, you can. For anyone reading this, trust that 00800.mpls, 00801.mpls and 00802.mpls are the correct sequential order across all discs. I believe that all discs have 3 episodes unless there is a single episode on said disc. That single episode will be 00800.mpls. But if I am wrong and there are two, then they will be 00800.mpls (next episode in series) and 00801.mpls (next episode in series after previous 00800.mpls).

I had a TON of problems with ripping this whole series, purchased on Amazon U.S. Probably MORE than 1/2 of the discs initially had read errors, but I was able to clean the discs (sometimes it took more than one cleaning per disc), and eventually got all but 4 of the discs to backup.

Did a return on that set and got it replaced with another one, but didn't send the old one back until I got the new one. Made sure the 4 discs that couldn't be read from the first set were able to be read from set #2 (still took 1-2 cleanings per disc in the new set), swapped in the "good" ones from set #2 into set #1, then returned the one that contained all the discs that could not be read.

This was a HUGE PITA for me, because each time I ripped a disc, it would almost always wait until at least 50% before it prompted about the read error, which took at least 45 mins each time...so I'd have to cancel it, clean the disc, then try again. Some discs actually took 4 tries before they could be read. At the time, I had 5x drives in total that I knew were working (had several more laying around yet to be tested), but I THOUGHT only 1 of them was UHD-friendly...ended up buying 4 more that were UHD-friendly...then as it turns out, several of the ones I already had (they were mounted in my desktop system, which was on the fritz at the time, so they were not usable) were able to be flashed to be friendly as well.

I now have 13x blu-ray drives in total, with 9x UHD-friendly. 6x UHD-friendly are in my new desktop system that I just built, with 2x UHD, 1x regular blu-ray, and 1x HD-DVD/Blu-ray combo drive (LG GGC-H20L) all mounted in external USB enclosures that I can use right now, leaving 3 drives not installed at the moment and not usable. But I also do have a slim blu-ray drive (not UHD-friendly) installed in one of my old laptops as well, so technically 14x drives in total. I will never go through the pain that I went through ripping this series, EVER again! LOL

if i try to open any of the Disks 3 in makeMKV it wont apear - if i try to open it in handbrake first (witch will end in a error message), then try to read it in makeMKV, it´ll shows up and work!

can someone replicate this?
