New discs won't open

Hi. I'm having trouble with newly released 4k discs opening. I have two bu40n drives and neither will open the discs. They work with releases of 6 months and older. Any reason for this? I've had friends try and successfully open the same discs. My drives have never given me a problem until recently. I've even been successful opening a failed disc on a friends computer, exact same laptop and drive. Could something in my computer be preventing this?
