Does it work if you analyse the disks directly with MakeMKV without using BatchMKV?

If yes, is the path for MakeMKV specified correctly in the BatchMKV settings?

Yes, I can rip the discs no problem with mkv, and the path to it in settings is correct as well.

This program is great, has saved me hundreds of hours.

Couple things:

- I noticed if I add a lot of files (like 50), the program tends to crash.

- Sometimes files fail to analyze, but then clearing them out and retrying works.

- I've came across a few files that fail to convert/process, but both MakeMKV and Mkvtoolnix are able too.

- Sometimes subtitle tracks are not detected. I think it may be related to .ass subs.

Per abilitare il debug JIT, è necessario impostare il valore
jitDebugging nella sezione system.windows.forms del file di configurazione
dell'applicazione o del computer (machine.config).
L'applicazione inoltre deve essere compilata con il debug

Ad esempio:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

Quando il debug JIT è abilitato, tutte le eccezioni non gestite
vengono inviate al debugger JIT registrato nel computer,

Hi there!

First off, the software looks very promising, thank you for your hard work to this point!

I've got about ~600 Video_ts folders worth to convert.

Last night, i installed, loaded all the folders, and went to bed. In the AM, it had crashed out, when i try to start it again it won't load. I tried to install it through it's setup program and that won't load either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Great project!
Any chance the source code for this could be made open-source?
I'd like to contribute to the project; there are several nagging bugs and crashes that I would want to clean up.

I've got a bit of a problem with this. Sometimes it just refuses to start? I get a little window saying "Checking program demands" (may be something else in english) for a few seconds, and sometimes, the program then start. Mostly, though, nothing more happens! It doesn't start, and there is no trace of it in the task list - almost like it crashes out before it even starts!

Any ideas? Does it do a logfile somewhere that may point me in the right direction?

Okay, I think I found the solution for this. I had converted a few iso's from a network drive, and when I tried starting the program again, that drive was no longer available, which caused it to crash. Restoring the drive access solved the problem...

I was having great success with only about 1 in 20 ISOs failing to analyze and everything analyzed successfully converting. I haven't changed anything relevant that I can think of. I am now getting a program crash - just disappears - after a successful analysis of a single file added.

I have windows event in two entries from the crash. One from the app, the other from .NET framework. So I installed 4.8 over 4.72 that I had installed but it didn't help.

Here are those two entries:

Hi,

New here but used this software before (along time ago)
I've redownloaded and tried running it but I'm getting an error message

'application did not succeed. Check your network connection, or contact your system admin or network service provider'

Any ideas?

I've had it running once, gave it a folder of. Iso BD rips to analyse and it failed all of them. Something doesn't seem right but not sure what. I've got over 500bd. Iso files I need converted :(

Hope Someone can help
Cheers

Having a problem, it was working yesterday and now it's not it won't even start before it crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times with no luck.
I see the notice that it's calling home and then nothing.

Error logs not helping me much maybe someone else can find the issue.

The Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation Blu-ray has a colon in {source-file-clean}, which means it cannot be used for a directory name. Could this colon be removed like "." and "_" and replaced with spaces?

For most MKV files and ISO files I get the following error:

Not sure if I missed a step, but once discs are analyzed how do I make them convert automatically without checking the box each time?

Also, is there a way to make it eject the disc when it's done converting?

The program was sort of working then it failed to convert an ISO and the program just hung. I closed it and rebooted now the program does not launch. I click the BatchMKV icon and the windows 10 blue loading circle shows then nothing.

Uninstalled and then re-install still can't launch the program now.

Some things I noticed are:

I'm using a Windows 10 machine and converting everything "remotely" on my directly connected 10GB fiber NAS connection. When I chose more than 5 ISO files it inevitably fails after analysis or during conversion. It will also just freeze if I try and select more than 20 titles. Not sure if that is due to the remote reads and writes but there is no way I could do a mass conversion with these issues.

I have to paste in the source folder location like //192.168.1.30/movies/iso . Is that type of path causing problems maybe? I have it output on the same type of path on my NAS.

Also on a lot of title that have simple file names it just outputs title.mkv even though I have the option to just use the file name selected.

Man this program is almost so awesome but with these problems I can't really use it.
