Makemkvcon, command line, and specifying a custom Java location

Hi all,
I'm looking for a way to:
1. Specify a JAVA installation location when using makemkvcon only (headless server only using makemkvcon via shell scripts)
2. Verify that MakeMKV has found and is using Java
3. How to find out which playlist MakeMKV suggests as the main title with fake playlist workarounds when using makemkvcon
I tried to rip Sicario 2 (Lionsgate UK) again today after watching my 2 year old rip and seeing the jumps/cuts. I'm only using makemkvcon on a headless Ubuntu box using shell scripts and I'm interested if the fake playlist work-around is working.
makemkvcon doesn't seem to make any mention of finding or using Java and it didn't seem to eliminate the fake playlists leaving 500+ options available
I was wondering if question 1 is solved by updating $PATH and $J2REDIR (and maybe $JAVA_HOME?) before calling makemkvcon?
