I have several drives. If I want to read the DVD, I always have to rewrite the drive. Why can't you see the path letters ???
If there are several drives, this is always a rule roulette until I have the drive.

Drives are enumerated by the way the operating system answers the question, "What optical drives are available?" Is there a reason your operating system would give different answers at different times?
