Back to the Future Pt. 1 Downconvert not working

I think this is the only forum that I want to talk about this on

Ripping BTTF1 and usin the Kodi addon Plex to direct stream ends up with a digital mess, primarily green.

The sound still plays and if I have Plex transcode it, it is fine.

Path:
HTPC --> Plex --> Fire Cube with Kodi/Plex direct stream --> Denon Receiver --> Hue Sync box --> 1080p DLP TV

Is this a disc failure or will it not convert?

Copy the file from your HTPC to your computer and play it with VLC. If it plays fine, then most likely the file is okay and the culprit is farther down the line.

If that works, the next test I'd try is to temporarily connect your Fire Cube directly to your TV and try it. That'll cut out your Denon and the Hue box.
