How to use dev:

#1 Post by Adi12 » Tue Oct 15, 2013 7:08 pm

Hi,

I want to write a Skript to rip Dvds or Blu-Rays automaticly.
So can anyone tell me how I can use the option dev: for source?

My arguments are like this:
makemkvcon mkv dev:E: all D: --minlength=300 --messages=C:\test.txt --progress=-same -r
But this does not work.

I hope someone can help me.

Currently dev: is sort of useless on windows. It requires a native device path (\Device\Cdrom0) . But the request is noted.

Thank you for your answer.

I have found out, that I can use "file:E:\Video_TS" for DVDs.
Can I use "file:" for Blu-Rays too?

Yes, just specify a path to BDMV directory.
