Profile selection syntax for Dolby TrueHD vs AC3?

#1 Post by Chetwood » Fri Aug 02, 2013 10:00 am

My current selection profile

-sel:all,+sel:(deu|eng|nolang),-sel:(core),-5:(forced*(eng)),-10:(deu),-15:(forced*(deu))"

usually covers most of my use cases but when ripping Matrix Revolutions both Dolby TrueHD and and AC3 5.1 track got ripped with the AC3 being ripped as first. So what syntax do I use to make MakeMKV drop a 5.1 AC3 track (not 2.0 cause I wanna keep director's commentary) whenever there is a Dolby TrueHD track (no matter if with or without core)? Thx.

Try replacing -sel:(core) with -sel:(havelossless)

I think that should give you the result you're looking for.

Thanks but this drops the AC3 2.0 commentary tracks.
