How to save VC-1 without FOURCC encapsulation?

#1 Post by woodpost » Mon Dec 10, 2018 6:00 pm

saw this in the 1.14.0 release notes:
  • VC1 video can be saved as raw elementary stream, without FOURCC AVI encapsulation
how do you do this? do i need to use a conversion profile? i'm completely new to this. are there any sample profiles or documentation i can use to figure it out?

cheers!

Unfortunately, this is one of those "Mike-only" questions, and he isn't here every day.

Suggestion: Send an email to support@makemkv.com with a pointer to this topic, and ask Mike to answer.
