Skip to next track on concert blurays

#1 Post by thisbejonas » Mon Oct 15, 2018 9:15 pm

I use plex to play back all my mkv files. I have several "concerts" on bluray and trying to find a way that I can hit the "next" button on the remote and plex will jump to the next track. Do I need to do something different in the way I create the mkv files? Currently just selecting the largest files on makmkv then sellecting all the options for the audio that I want.
Thanks for any guidance.

The player itself determines half of whether or not "skip to next" will work. In MKV files, you typically have a chapter track; if the player supports it, it will work, but if the MKV file didn't have one to begin with.... MakeMKV cannot magically make one.

There are chapter editors out there that will create a file that can be merged into the MKV file by mkvmerge.
