AACS decoding for "Handbrake" fails

#1 Post by MiMoHo » Mon Dec 26, 2016 9:51 pm

Hello Mike,

I have been using MakeMKV and it's aacs library in combination with HandBrake converter to directly re-encode the video footage on BluRay discs. Since they updated to version 1.0.0 (https://handbrake.fr/downloads.php), there is no more support in using your library feature for reading protected BluRays as HandBrake says "no valid source found" after scanning.

Handbrake used to work in symbiosis until version 0.10.5. Is there a way to reconnect both software from your side? I am using the latest version of MakeMKV on Mac OS X 10.11.6 and the tutorial on this page for linking: www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/directl ... -handbrake

Thanks for your effort!
