I was wondering about this as well. Does anyone have any thoughts on why this is happening or how to address it? Using the batch converter is saving me loads of time, but I could still cut that time down by 75% without this small nuisance. Because it is dropping the first letter, I am unable to just batch convert to the same drive and then run a batch File2Folder. If I have the batch converter save to the original file though, the .mkv gets stashed inside the Video_TS folder and I have to manually go back to each movie folder and move all the files back into the main movie folder before deleting the Video_TS folder.sroffe wrote:It appears to only drop the first letter if I select an entire disc drive. If I select a specific folder, then it doesn't do that. Weird.
I've been using a long work around so far. I've been batch converting to an external drive, then drag/dropping each .mkv back into the original movie folders. Then I go through and start deleting Video_TS files. That's an awful lot of moving around of the files though, and it still means taking the time to go through and delete Video_TS files from each main movie folder manually.
I've attached a screenshot of what is going on in case it isn't exactly clear.
